Earlier this month Stuff.co.nz  reported a story about elderly landlords who let their own rental property to 16 and 17 year olds who lied about their age. Within a period of 8 weeks, these tenants had caused $10,000 worth of damage reported being holes in the walls, door panels missing, cigarette butts littering the entire inside of the home, dog feces – you name it.
